The Weekend

Snow camping up in Wyoming didn't lend itself to much exercise on day 1. I was cooking instead of shoveling snow, so not much of a workout. I skipped a hike on Sun, but did get a nice hike on Mon.

A Day Off

In almost four and a half years, I did something new. I took a day off.

After stopping the running streak last month, I stopped the exercise streak today. A busy day, work not getting done, a Scout event, and I ran out of time. I decided when I got home at 9:30 that running for the sake of keeping the streak going wasn't in the best interest of life.

I know I can do it. I've proved it. I decided to cut myself slack and not worry about missing a day.

Hard run. Legs, hips, all sore. Hard to slow down as well. I struggled to pick a slower pace, going from 6.4 down to 5.6 eventually and just jogging.
