I decided that I ought to look back at 2010, my second full year of running. I felt good running, but I was definitely injured for large sections of the year. I had to modify a lot of workouts with sore ankles and knees, and even a back. I ended up with lots of sub-50mi months.
My total mileage by month:
- Jan – 46.66
- Feb – 42.46
- Mar – 49.49
- Apr – 46.28
- May – 51.41
- Jun – 57.1
- Jul – 46.66
- Aug – 49.24
- Sep – 47.37
- Oct – 49.59
- Nov – 48.11
- Dec – 51.09
That gives me 585.46 for the year. Not two miles a day, but a 1.6 for the year, which I think is pretty good.
