Day 1482

On the road again, this time in Austin. A nice run along the Red River in Zilker Park. A good day, a touch windy, warm, but not hot. Started too fast, however, and the right knee flexed a few times. The inside of it felt unstable, so slowed down.

Renumbering

I was doing mental arithmetic recently and realized that four years should be right around 1460 days. But I was already there, ten days early.

I went back and found a jump from 1355 to 1366 in my log. Must have been tired that day and not paying attention. In any case, I decided to renumber things and clean up the log.

Only 54mi last month, but still a good month. A few weight workouts in there along with some long baseball games.

I feel pretty good. Nothing major hurts, though it does feel as though the back is tight. Some struggles swinging at baseball and some of the games where I've been more active at Shortstop are hard on the body. Definitely some soreness, but worlds better than last year at this time.

A little over a week to four years of running. Amazing.

Day 1454

BFL run day, but with no wind, I was halfway down the driveway before I realized. Not wanting to waste the day, I decided to just run  hard. Out to the west, down hills making good time and suffering on the way back. Two stretches of 30s walking to make up for the long hill climbs still had me finishing in decent time.
