Day 1 - Run

Needed to get out, out of time, but made time anyway. Out for a walk/run, but did a mile jog.

I was going to run in the morning, but got caught up in work. Then off to lunch and traveling to a volleyball game. Then watching, then home after 9:30.

A good day, but a bad one.

Day 1 - Run

Got out to sweat, going a 1/4 mile, then jogging a bit over a mile and jog/walk back. I pressed, with some of the jogs getting up to speed and making it hard to breathe, a pleasant pain in my chest.

This has been a crazy week for me. I was out of town Wed/Thur, and managed to work out, but I got home at 10pm Thur, had to leave the house at 7am Fri, and was still fighting illness. I was at work, then out watching my kid run cross country. He was still sick, so I ended up leaving the meet early, not having time to walk around much. I had hoped to walk a mile while I was there, but timing was tough.

Home at 10pm, I decided not to push things and go to bed. A missed day.

Sat I was up early again, out at 7 for an event. Then a friend came over and my wife wanted to take kids to town for some errands. Again, not home until after 10, so bailed on exercise.

Sunday I relaxed all morning. I was going to go out and walk, but my wife needed some help, and then a volleyball practice for my daughter. I helped out and sweated, but not a great workout. Home too late to do anything again, and need to heal.

I don't think I've had three days off in years, but it came this week.

Day 1 - Run

A slow, easy run, bumpered by walks on both sides. I was a bit beat up and my calf started aching a little. Not what I wanted, but I managed to slow down and complete my mile.

Sad Face

I was thinking I wouldn't miss a date anytime soon, but I managed to do so when I went to a school board meeting after kids' practice instead of staying home and taking a walk. Didn't get home until 9:30 and called it a night.

Day 4 - Elliptical/Swim

My knee has been aching a bit. I can feel myself running hard, pounding a  bit, and maybe overdoing it. So I decided not to try and run too much, too fast, and changed things up.

Today I hit the gym for 20min on the elliptical, just breaking a sweat, and then the pool for some work. I certainly could feel myself struggling to swim a bit, and that 20 minutes made a difference. Plus I'm out of shape for swimming, but I did put in my 1200 yards

Day 3 - Run

The left knee was aching, but I wrapped it and headed out. Lots of walking, but also about 1.5mi of running. The mapping was off, but that's OK.

Day 2 - Run

Out again. a little pressed for time, a little sore, but I pushed myself a bit to keep moving and ended up walking more than running here.

A nice run/walk outside in the hot September sun. Felt good and no calf issues.

I could maybe have called a walk here since I did walk around the property for 45 minutes or so playing boccie ball with the kids, but it wasn't focused time, nor did I sweat. I did lots of work outside, and ended up with 11k steps overall, but no real workout.

Day 29 - Run

A nice, late night walk/run. Ended up jogging almost 2 of the 3.5 or so miles and it felt good. No leg issues.

Day 27 - Run

A nice, hot, midday run. Out walking for 10, then jogging about two miles before walking a bit more. Felt good to be moving

Day 26 - Swimming

A nice swim, outside, for the first time this summer. I managed to get through 1200 yards, mostly in 100s, but I did a couple 200s as I felt better. Held onto my breathing.

also did 120 pushups at Kendall's practice. Was going to jog, but the track was in use.

A hot run in the afternoon, about 1.8 or so miles jogged, with some running and the rest walking.
